Western Washington Bass Fishing Adventures
Western Washington bass fishing continues to grow in popularity—and for good reason! Not only does our region offer easy access to scenic lakes, but it’s also home to some of the biggest Smallmouth in the country. In fact, it’s not uncommon to hook into a trophy-sized 5-pounder during a single outing.

Why Bass Fishing in Washington?
Because Washington has such a diverse and healthy fishery, anglers from all over the nation come here to chase both largemouth and smallmouth. While you may have a specific lake in mind, we often recommend your destination based on current catch rates, seasonal trends, and recent productivity. This approach increases your odds for an action-packed day.
Moreover, many of the lakes we fish are within a short drive of Seattle, which makes planning your trip easy and convenient.
Lakes We Fish
We proudly guide trips on several top-tier Western Washington lakes, including:
- Lake Goodwin
- Lake Whatcom
- Lake Stevens
Each of these lakes offers its own unique challenge, and because they are all well-stocked and healthy, your chances of catching bass are excellent.
Did you know?
- The Washington state record for Smallmouth is 8.75 lbs, caught on April 23, 1966.
- The Largemouth record sits at 12.53 lbs, landed on August 8, 2016.
Could the next state record be yours?
