Rich Olson

Ridge to River Outdoors & 365 Charters is proud to be associated with full time Charter Captain Rich Olson.  Captain Rich is the owner and operator of Northwest Fishing Charters.

Rich is a full time charter captain operating out of Edmonds.

Rich Olson grew up fishing Puget Sound with his father. With over 40 years experience fishing Puget Sound, Captain Rich knows how to find fish.

“I remember when my dad would take me out to Possession Bar, just at the south tip of Whidbey Island, he really taught me a tremendous amount about fishing, and I have kept those memories and experiences to share with others who fish with me. Depending on the tide, the bait and the fish will get pushed up onto this shallow shelf, which is known as Possession Bar. The fishing can be amazing, depending on the time of year.” Rich Olson

Serving the customer is important to Rich. All of the equipment Northwest Fishing Charters uses is well maintained and well stocked. Rich spends countless hours of maintenance and preparation to provide a quality fishing experience throughout the year.

We are properly licensed, insured, and trained to provide professional charter fishing services.

Rich maintains a United States Coast Guard Near Coastal Masters License, TWIC card, and is a Washington State Licensed Charter.

We are insured for all Charter fishing operations in Washington State. Rich is a pro staff for Humminbird, as well as Cannon and Minn Kota Motors.
